A 19-year-old man from West Paducah, Kentucky, was arrested Wednesday following a months-long investigation into allegations involving a juvenile, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Kaden Mills was arrested on September 16 after authorities obtained an arrest warrant the previous day. He is facing charges including first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy.
Investigation Began After Juvenile Report
According to authorities, the investigation began after a juvenile reported that Mills had raped her. Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the allegations over several months.
During the investigation, detectives collected evidence related to the juvenile’s report. Authorities said the evidence confirmed information provided in the initial statement.
The investigation ultimately led to an arrest warrant being issued for Mills on September 15.
Mills was arrested the following day at the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office. He was then taken to the McCracken County Jail, where he was lodged following his arrest.
